I just got off my first-ever live Zoom event with paid subscribers.

Thanks to everyone who joined. That was a really awesome event and if folks want to do it again, we can hang out in future!

Now I’m doing video rants to accompany my regular written pieces.

I am thrilled (for myself and for the future of civilization) that so many people are reading!

Substack is a fascinating phenomenon and I am shocked and delighted that, in a short-attention-span world, so many people are engaging with (comparatively) long-form essays.

I also know that, to reach wider audiences, video will grab some fresh eyes.

So I am projecting my mug onto your screens.

I’M REBRANDING

Well, actually, just branding. When I started on this platform, it automatically dubbed my work with the imaginative title “Pat’s Substack.” So to call this a “rebrand” is to suggest I had given any thought to branding in the first place.

But anyways …

Pat’s Subtack – and my new podcast – are now …

Subtle, huh?

You will notice a little difference when you receive my emails from now on.

And finally …

I’M WRITING A BOOK

Well, I’ve already written it.

I’m compiling a few of my Susbtacks making a powerful case that the people who call themselves “pro-Palestinian” are the very people who are preventing peace and Palestinian self-determination.

The working title is

HOW TO (ACTUALLY) FREE PALESTINE

I anticipate the book will be available in hard copy and e-book formats before the end of the year, but …

I NEED YOUR HELP

Some people have encouraged me to do this. And I’ve been threatening it for a while.

Now that I’m doing it, I am looking for folks who are willing to proofread and advise on structure, consistency and general readability.

If you have editing or proofreading experience – or if you are just an avid reader – I would so appreciate your help. I can’t offer much in the way of compensation except an autographed copy and my eternal gratitude.
