Chaverim,
Since I began this Substack less than a year ago, I have been honoured to build a powerful, engaged community online.
I anticipate being in Israel March 2-14. If you would like to meet up for coffee and conversation, I would be honoured.
I will be splitting time between TLV and Jerusalem, possibly going to Beersheva and Sde Boker.
I am looking for stories to share with my readers and for other projects I am working on, especially “behind the news” perceptions that are less about “what happened” than about how it made Israeli individual feel. Stories of resilience and determination.
Also, of course, just looking to meet new friends.
If we could double up and chat while also, say, walking through a neighbourhood you know but that I haven’t visited or share a museum experience while chatting, that would be ideal.
Looking forward to meeting some of you during my (too short) stay!
Please PM me.
Todah rabah.
Pat, I am a new subscriber but already you have become my most quoted / shared substack author. We are Canadian expats living in Beit Shemesh - not sure if that’s quite your cup of tea ;) - but would be honoured to meet you wherever convenient and treat you to lunch etc as an admittedly inadequate “thank you” for your unwavering support.
I'd be very honoured to meet you! I live in the Galilee near Carmiel but I work in Haifa so if that is easier we could meet up there. Please let me know if you will be able to meet up and I will do my best to welcome you 🙏
