The initiators of the violence must be roundly defeated and see that they have no choice but to surrender without conditions. The aggressor must never be allowed to sue for peace. If 67% of Palestinians supported stabbing and 73% opposed “the participation of young school girls in the stabbing attacks …” that doesn’t mean more than 25% think “young school girls” should be stabbing Jews.
There is a group of 100-67=33% who don’t support stabbing. There is also a group of 73% who oppose young girls’ participation. That second group could possibly be completely different people to the first group, so the minimum number who oppose young girls stabbing Jews is 33% and the maximum is 96%.
